Welcome to Porters Lodge

 

The Porters Lodge has comfortable, bunk-style and family accommodation set against a beautiful mountain backdrop. We have a fully licenced bar and serve freshly cooked hot meals and snacks. 

We're nestled at the base of Porters Ski Area in the Craigieburn range, so perfectly located whether you're here for the biking, hiking, the stunning views or simply passing by. Drop in and say hello, enjoy a bite to eat and a cold drink, or maybe an awesome Underground Coffee to go to get you back on the road! 

Our Cafe Bar & Bistro is open from 10am to 8pm all year round.

Porters Lodge is open all year with an All Day menu, a fully licenced bar, sun deck and accommodation for everyone to enjoy after a day in the mountains. 

With comfortable, cosy rooms, we offer bunk-style accommodation with private and shared room options, accommodating up to 40 guests in total.

Whether you're here to ski, to explore the legendary Castle Hill rocks, disappear into the peaceful hiking trails, take in the stunning alpine vista or hurtle down one of the mountain bike trails of the Craigieburn Range, we have it all to offer right on our doorstep. 

We also have 2.3km worth of purpose-built mountain bike flow trails, starting and finishing right at the Porters Lodge (open summer only).
